Choices

I choose to stay positive.
I choose to embrace the tiny victories.
I choose to keep it real.
I choose honesty.
I choose humility.
I choose to forgive myself when I fail.
I choose to let go of guilt.
I choose to run toward my wife, not away.
I choose to live in awe of my son.
I choose to let others spend their energy searching for causes and cures.
I choose to spend my energy searching for new “aisle 17’s” :).
I choose to look forward, not backward.
I choose to be thankful, not envious.
I choose to trust my instincts.
I choose to suck it up.
I choose to just keep showing up.
I choose to believe there is a higher purpose to all of this.
I choose to keep pursuing it.

I stumbled across your blog by accident but your words about CHOICES had a profound impact on me this evening. My son-in-law
is at a low point in his life and I am going to share the words that you wrote with him. Your peace and grace concerning your circumstances go beyond human understanding. Thank you for sharing such personal thoughts with us..
